The Ministry of Defence Production (Urdu: وزارت دفاع پيداوار;acronym: MoDP, is a Cabinet-level ministry of Pakistan government tasked and primary concerned with the development of military technologies, logistics, and production of ammunition, warheads, and industrialization for the Pakistan Armed Forces. federal government agency in Pakistan.

Rana Tanveer Hussain of PML (N) is the Minister of Defence Production; Lt. General (Retd) Tanvir Tahir is the Secretary of Ministry of Defence Production; and Major General Raza Muhammad is Additional Secretary at Ministry of Defence Production (MoDP), Rawalpindi.

Directorate General Defence Purchase

Directorate General Supply and Development was established under Ministry of Defence on creation of Pakistan. Directorate General Defence Purchase or DGDP was made responsible for procurement and disposal of defence stores, since then has been functioning under Ministry of Defence Production.[4]
