The Minister for Defence Production, also known as MoD-P is the Cabinet-level federal ministry of Government of Pakistan. The department is tasked with the production of the defence materials and production of the defence-related equipment for the Pakistan Armed Forces. The minister serves in the cabinet of the Prime Minister, and is required to be an elected member of Parliament. It was formerly the part of Ministry of Defence, but it was made separate from the ministry. The MoD-P is a high-profile and executive department that is charged with the financing, purchasing, and negotiating the defence materials within the country of abroad.

The ministry is directly related to Pakistan Defence Forces where a large number of civilians and military officers are employed in the industry. The political and executive head is known as Minister for Defence Production, is currently headed by Parliamentarian Rana Tanveer Hussain. The current Defence Production Secretary is Lt Gen Tanvir Tahir HI(M) (Retd).
