Pageantry

Miss Atlántico Internacional 2014

In 2014, Mireia was crowned Miss Atlántico Internacional 2014 after she won the pageant succeeding Lorena Romaso.

Miss World 2015

On October 24, 2015, Mireia was crowned Miss World Spain 2015 after participating at the 2015 edition of Miss World Spain held in Málaga, Spain. She represented Spain at the Miss World pageant which was held in Sanya, China.[2] She was crowned Miss World 2015 on 19 December 2015, this is the first time Spain won Miss World crown.[3][4]

Controversy

In 2015, shortly after her success at the Miss World Spain 2015 pageant, Mireia was involved in an age-cheat controversy. While the Miss World Spain 2015 website showed that she was 15 years old, the organization claimed she was 23 years old.[5] However, this issue became resolved when the organization recognized that her age, as posted in their website, was wrong.[6]
