Miss Universe 1974, the 23rd Miss Universe pageant, was held on 21 July 1974 at the Cultural Center of the Philippines in Manila, Philippines. It was the first time in the Pageant's history that the event was held in Asia. Amparo Muñoz of Spain crowned by Margarita Moran of the Philippines.
