Miss Model of the World 1989, the second edition of Miss Model of the World was held in Istanbul, Turkey on May 27, 1989.[2] It was hosted by Mr. Carven and Guy Laroche. 34 delegates around the world competed for the title, Kao Arden of France was crowned Miss Model of the World 1989 by outgoing titleholder Victoria Eugenia Azuero Ballestros of Colombia.
