Moinabad is a famous Town and a Mandal in Ranga Reddy district in the state of Telangana in India.[1]

Moinabad is very famous town in the Telangana State. The Moinabad was originally called Surangal village which was later called it as Moinabad is named after a senior aristocracy family "Paigah nobles" called Nawab Muhammad Moinuddin Khan Amir-I-Paigah (His Excellency Nawab Moin-ud-Doula Bahadur) of Asman Jahi Paigah. Nawab Moin-ud-Doula Bahadur also famous as Nawab Enayath Jung S/o Nawab Sir Asman Jah Bahadur, Rafat Jung, Bashir-ud-DauIa, Umdat-ul-Mulk II, Azim-ul-Umra, Amir-i-Akbar and Knights Commander of the Order of the Indian Empire (K.C.I.E.).

There are several landmarks in the vicinity of Moinabad, they are Chilkur Balaji Temple, Mrugavani National Park is located in Chilkur in this mandal, Bhaskar Medical College located at Yenkapally village in Moinabad mandal.[2]
