Monika Kostera

Monika Kostera (born 28 February 1963) is a Polish organization theorist, known for her contributions to business studies, myths, storytelling and narrative analysis in anthropology of organization.

At present, she is a professor at the School of Management and Economics at Linnaeus University in Sweden,[1] and at the Faculty of Management and Social Communication

Institute of Culture, Jagiellonian University Poland. Fellow of Collegium Invisibile.[2] Currently, she holds positions in several editorial boards of international journals in the field, including Journal of Organizational Change Management, Human Relations, Management Learning.

Her research takes a constructionist perspective on organizing, most recently exploring the organizational archetypes. She is interested in methodology, especially in failures in organizational ethnography. She has also made contributions to organizational changes in transitional economy theory,[3] and critical management studies.[4]
