Zocca (Emilian: Zòca) is a comune (municipality) in the Province of Modena in the Italian region Emilia-Romagna, located about 45 kilometres (28 mi) southwest of Bologna and about 35 kilometres (22 mi) south of Modena.

The municipality of Zocca contains the frazioni (subdivisions, mainly villages and hamlets) Ciano, Missano, Montalbano, Montecorone, Montetortore, Montombraro, and Rosola.

Zocca borders the following municipalities: Castel d'Aiano, Castello di Serravalle, Guiglia, Montese, Pavullo nel Frignano, Savigno, Vergato.

Political

The city is governed by left-side party (Partito Democratico. The Mayor is Pietro Balugani. Zocca is twinned with Boa Vista island, in Cape Verde archipelago and with Lumaco in Chile.
