Morgan Township is one of sixteen townships in Franklin County, Iowa, USA. As of the 2010 census, its population was 265 and it contained 148 housing units.[1]

History

Morgan Township was named for Lewis H. Morgan, a pioneer settler and native of Kentucky.[3]

Geography

As of the 2010 census, Morgan Township covered an area of 36.18 square miles (93.7 km2); of this, 36.05 square miles (93.4 km2) (99.66 percent) was land and 0.12 square miles (0.31 km2) (0.34 percent) was water.[1]
