Murdock MacQuarrie (25 August 1878, in San Francisco, California 22 August 1942, in Los Angeles, California) was an American silent film actor and director.

Murdock began his long screen career as an actor in early films including The Count of Monte Cristo (1913) before becoming a director at Universal.

He was the brother of actors Albert MacQuarrie, Frank MacQuarrie and George MacQuarrie.
