Reception

Like many American films of the time, The Stronger Mind was subject to cuts by city and state film censorship boards. For example, the Chicago Board of Censors in 1918 required cuts of in Reel 1 of the burglar sandpapering his pal's fingers and of the burglars working at the safe.[2]
