Nachole (Bengali: নাচোল) is an Upazila of Nawabganj District in the Division of Rajshahi, Bangladesh.^[1]

Geography

Nachole is located at 24°43′45″N 88°25′10″E / 24.7292°N 88.4194°E . It has 16940 households and total area 283.68 km².

Demographics

As of the 1991 Bangladesh census, Nachole has a population of 97119. Males constitute 51.07% of the population, and females 48.93%. This Upazila's eighteen up population is 47535. Nachole has an average literacy rate of 24.6% (7+ years), and the national average of 32.4% literate.^[2]
