Nathan Birnboim

Nathan Birnboim (Hebrew: נתן בירנבוים; born 27 November 1950, Tel Aviv) a chess International master from Israel.

Birnboim played for Israel in five Chess Olympiads.[1]

He won individual silver medal at Buenos Aires 1978.

He was Israeli Champion in 1976, 1980 and 1986. He played twice in zonal tournaments: at Randers 1982, he took 11th place and at Munchen 1987 he took 4th place. In 1986, he took 5th in Jerusalem.

Birnboim was awarded the International Master (IM) title in 1978.
