Nawal al-Hawsawi

Nawal al-Hawsawi is a Saudi-Arabian pilot and campaigner against racism and domestic violence.[1][2][3][4][5] She has been referred to as the "Rosa Parks of Saudi Arabia". Al-Hawsawi, who originated from Mecca, married a White American. She has a commercial pilot's license and is also a mental health counselor and marriage therapist. She has 50,000 followers on Twitter.[6] She is not permitted to fly aircraft in Saudi Arabia.[7]
