Nemichandra Siddhanta Chakravarty (fl. 10th century) was the celebrated author of Dravyasamgraha, Gommatsāra (Jivakanda and Karmakanda), Trilokasara, Labdhisara and Kshapanasara. He was among the most distinguished of the Jain Acharyas.

Biography

Nemichandra flourished in the fifteenth century AD.[1]

Works

At the request of Chavundaraya, he wrote Gommatsāra taking the essence of all available works of the great Acharyas. He also supervised the consecration of the Gommateshwara statue (c.980 AD).[2] The Dravyasamgraha of Nemichandra (ca. 10th century) is a sacred text of Jainism. He wrote Trilokasara based on the Tiloya Panatti,[3] and Pratishthatilaka.[1]
