Neos S.p.A. is an Italian leisure airline with its headquarters in Somma Lombardo[4] and main base at Milan-Malpensa Airport.[5]
History
Neos was established in June 2001 as a joint venture between two tourism companies, the Italian Alpitour S.p.A. and the German TUI Group. Revenue flights were launched on 8 March 2002.[6] In January 2004 however, TUI sold its entire shares to Alpitour.[7] Neos used to be part of TUI Airlines until then and today has no affiliation to the TUI Group anymore. As of March 2007, the company had 330 employees.[5]
Destinations
Neos operates flights to destinations in Southern Europe, Russia, Africa, the Middle and Far East, the Caribbean, Mexico and Brazil.

Incidents
- On 19 November 2012, Neos flight 731 suffered severe turbulence during a flight from Holguin to Milan. 66 passengers sustained minor injuries during the flight aboard the Boeing 767-300ER.[10]
