New Frankfort, Indiana
New Frankfort is an unincorporated community in Scott County, in the U.S. state of Indiana.[1]
History
New Frankfort was founded in 1838, and named after Frankfort, Kentucky, the native home of a large share of the early settlers.[2] A post office was in operation at New Frankfort between 1838 and 1901.[3]
