Nichola Pease (born c. 1961) is a British fund manager.

Early life

Nichola Pease was born circa 1961.[2] Her father, Sir Richard Thorn Pease, 3rd Baronet, was a banker.[3][4] Her mother is Anne Heyworth.[3]

She received a Bachelor of Arts degree in English from Exeter University.[5][6]

Career

Pease started her career in finance at Kleinwort Benson in 1983.[4][5] In 1985, she joined Smith New Court and by 1989, she served on its Board of Directors.[4][5]

She served as the Chief Executive Officer of J.O. Hambro Capital Management from 1998 to 2008,[7] while James Hambro was the Chairman.[4] She stepped down as Deputy Chairman in 2008, when she was replaced as CEO by Gavin Rochussen.[7] Upon its 2011 merger with BT Investment Management, an Australian financial firm, she earned a third of £124 million.[8]

She served on the Board of Directors of Northern Rock from 1999 to 2007.[2][6] She also served on the Board of Directors of Grainger plc from 2001 to 2005.[6] She serves as a Non-Executive Director of Schroders.[9]

Personal life

She married Crispin Odey, a hedge fund manager, in 1991.[5] They have three children.[2] They live in Chelsea on weekdays and spend their weekends at Eastbach Court, a Grade II-listed mansion in English Bicknor, Gloucestershire.[2]
