Nicolae Rosetti-Bălănescu (December 6, 1827 – May 11, 1884) was a lawyer and Romanian politician who served as the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Principality of Romania from August 29, 1863 until October 29, 1865.[1] After the divorce, his wife Olga married another diplomat Petre Mavrogheni.[2] Nicolae Rosetti-Bălănescu came from a larger aristocratic Rosetti family, which to distinguish themselves split into four smaller families: Rosetti-Solescu, Rosetti-Roznovanu, Rosetti-Tescanu and Rosetti-Bălănescu.[3]
