Nicușor Bancu (born 18 September 1992 in Olt) is a Romanian footballer who plays for Universitatea Craiova as a midfielder.

Career

In his first league match for Universitatea Craiova, a Liga I game against CS Pandurii Târgu Jiu, Nicușor Bancu played the entire match without being substituted.

On 29 October 2014 Universitatea Craiova played in Round of 16 of Cupa României against FC Viitorul Constanța and it ended 1-1 in 90 minutes. The match went on extra time and ended 2-1 for his team . Nicușor played the entire match until he was injured by Alin Șeroni in the 95 minute.The player of FC Viitorul broke Nicusor's tibia and was eliminated for the second yellow card.He will be out for 3–4 months.[1]
