Nixonton (also Nixons Town or Windmill Point) is an unincorporated community in Pasquotank County, North Carolina. Nixonton was once a municipality, having been incorporated in 1758.[1] It is part of the Elizabeth City, North Carolina Micropolitan Statistical Area.
