Nolthenius's long-tailed climbing mouse (Vandeleuria nolthenii), also known as Sri Lanka highland tree mouse, is a species of rodent in the family Muridae. It is found only in Sri Lanka. It is known as ශ්රී ලංකා ගස් මීයා in Sinhala.
Description
Head and body length is 8–9 cm. Tail is 12–13 cm. Dark reddish brown dorsally and darker in the back. Underparts gray. Dark brown face. Dark brown tail and ears. Long whiskers are black, short ones are silvery in color. Back fur long, soft, and dense.
