Nona Creative is notable for being one of the very few Southern African web development companies to work internationally, this includes clients on 5 continents.

History

Nona was created in 2012 by 5 partners Ed O'Reilly, Mike Scott, Gordon Angus, Paul van Zyl and one other who was bought out in 2014. In 2014 it moved into larger offices in the Old Castle Brewery,[4] the tech hub of Cape Town's Woodstock area, and doubled its work force. It was also selected to participate in Grindstone accelerator program. In 2015 Nona became active in teaching underprivileged students in South Africa to code. [5][6]

Nona Creative was one of the first digital marketing agencies to officially partner with global agency Saatchi & Saatchi in Africa in 2013.[7]

Company Structure

The company is split into three sections:

However more recently Nona Creative has entered into the consultation space, offering services that are in dire need in the digital space across the world mainly because of the huge shortage of high quality developers and the difficulty in building technical teams. These services include turnkey solutions for building in house digital capacity in a sustainable and culture driven manner.
