Nonoichi (野々市市 Nonoichi-shi) is a city located in Ishikawa Prefecture, Japan.
As of February 2011, the city has an estimated population of 51,976 and a population density of 3,830 persons per km². The total area is 13.56 km².
The modern city of Nonoichi was established on November 11, 2011, when the former town of Nonoichi (from Ishikawa District) was elevated to city status. Therefore, Ishikawa District was dissolved as a result of this merger.[1]
