Noornad is a village in Alappuzha district in the Indian state of Kerala.[1]

Demographics

As of 2001 India census, Noornad had a population of 25604 with 11960 males and 13644 females.[1] Nooranad is part of the Onattukara cultural region. Padananilam Parabrahma Temple is the famous temple in this region. Kettu Kazhcha - a procession of two huge oxen is carried out here as part of the Padanilam Sivarathri.
