The North Carolina derby is a soccer rivalry (derby) usually between North Carolina's two USL Pro teams, the Charlotte Eagles and Wilmington Hammerheads though theoretically the Carolina Dynamo of Greensboro and Carolina RailHawks of Cary are also part of the derby, they play in separate divisions and as such rarely meet.

The first North Carolina Derby took place in the 1993 USISL season and was between Charlotte and the then Greensboro Dynamo, Greensboro won the league championship that season.
