Nové Veselí is a small town (městys) in Žďár nad Sázavou District in the Vysočina Region of the Czech Republic.
The town covers an area of 9.51 square kilometres (3.67 sq mi), and has a population of 1,238 (as at 28 August 2006).
Nové Veselí lies on the Oslava River, approximately 6 kilometres (4 mi) south-west of Žďár nad Sázavou, 27 km (17 mi) north-east of Jihlava, and 124 km (77 mi) south-east of Prague.
