Nu² Boötis is a spectroscopic binary approximately 430 light years from Earth. The primary component, ν² Boötis A, is a white A-type main sequence dwarf with an apparent magnitude of +4.98. Its companion, ν² Boötis B is separated from the primary by less than 0.1 arcseconds. The binary has an orbital period of 8.48 years.
