Ołownik [ɔˈwɔvnik] (German: Launingken, from 1938-45 Sanden) is a village in the administrative district of Gmina Budry, within Węgorzewo County, Warmian-Masurian Voivodeship, in northern Poland, close to the border with the Kaliningrad Oblast of Russia.[1] It lies approximately 9 kilometres (6 mi) north-west of Budry, 13 km (8 mi) north-east of Węgorzewo, and 106 km (66 mi) north-east of the regional capital Olsztyn.

Before 1945, the area was part of Germany (East Prussia).
