This name uses Spanish naming customs: the first or paternal family name is Fraile and the second or maternal family name is Matarranza.

Omar Fraile Matarranza (born 17 July 1990)[1] is a Spanish racing cyclist.[2] He rode at the 2014 UCI Road World Championships. On 26 April 2015, Fraile won the Giro dell'Appennino from a small group of riders, outsprinting Stefano Pirazzi and Damiano Cunego.[3] He rode in the 2015 Vuelta a España where he won the mountains classification,[4] by making well-timed breakaways in order to gain points for the classification.[5] Subsequently Team Dimension Data announced that Fraile would join them for the 2016 season.[6] He was named in the start list for the 2016 Giro d'Italia.[7]
