Omar LinX is a Mexican-Canadian hip hop / electronic artist based in Toronto.[1][2] Omar sings and writes songs in a variety of genres, through collaborations with electronic music producers, including frequent collaborations with production duo Zeds Dead,[3] who combine aspects of electro, house, hip-hop, and drum and bass.

History

LinX co-wrote songs for "Wake Up", which was released by Zeds Dead in February 2010. LinX has since collaborated on a number of songs with the group,[4] including their first official single re-release "Rudeboy"[5] and "Out for Blood"[6] which has been viewed more than five million times on YouTube. The group has also released several projects which include his contributions, including the Living Dead EP on Ultra Records[7] and music video[8][9] and the Victor EP on electronic music label Mad Decent.[10]

In July 2011, LinX released his debut album "City of Ommz".[11][12]

In February 2012 Zeds Dead and Omar LinX launched "The Living Dead Tour", bringing opening acts AraabMUZIK, XI, Memorecks, Mat the Alein, and Knight Riderz.[13]

In 2015 LinX continues to tour and perform his own songs.[6]

In 2016, LinX featured in 'Keep it Mello' by electronic trap artist Marshmello.
