Career
Her more serious music career began when she won the Showtime show in December 2007.[2] In May 2008 singing Ruža u kamenu/Rose in Stone by Miro Buljan/Boris Djurdjevic/Neno Nincevic Franka performed at the finals of the pop/rock evening of the 12th Radio Festival in Opatija, where she captured the audiences’ award. That very song was the one that had captured the hearts at the OGAE network which gathers 40 European clubs Eurosong fans and its Song Contest that Franka had won is the reason for it being held in Croatia next year.[3] Among 28 tunes, Croatia was in the lead with the British song (Take That – Rule the World) and the Sonohra band which had taken this year’s San Remo trailing behind.[4] Franka won the fourth season of Ples sa zvijezdama, a Croatian version of Dancing with the Stars.
