Open Dots

Open Dots is a specification for conductive wireless power technology for charging devices.[1]

It is overseen by the Open Dots Alliance, a 501(c)(6) non-profit organization formed by JVIS USA, LLC, based in Shelby, Michigan.[2]

In May 2015, the alliance stated that the Open Dots standard was used in 12 vehicle models across five major automotive brands – Ford, Chrysler, RAM, Dodge, and Scion. Phone case maker INCIPIO was also mentioned as making compatible products.[3]
