Orion is a former settlement in Kings County, California.^[1] It was located on the Southern Pacific Railroad 5.25 miles (8.4 km) west-southwest of Hanford,^[2] at an elevation of 236 feet (72 m).^[1] Orion still appeared on maps as of 1926.^[1]
