Osowiec [ɔˈsɔvjɛt͡s] is a settlement in the administrative district of Gmina Dobiegniew, within Strzelce-Drezdenko County, Lubusz Voivodeship, in western Poland.[1] It lies approximately 10 kilometres (6 mi) east of Dobiegniew, 28 km (17 mi) north-east of Strzelce Krajeńskie, and 52 km (32 mi) north-east of Gorzów Wielkopolski.
Before 1945 the area was part of Germany (see Territorial changes of Poland after World War II).
