Owen Gilbert
Owen Gilbert (1868 – 13 November 1934) was an Australian politician.
Owen was born in Raymond Terrace, New South Wales and spent early years in Wallsend. He was a schoolteacher in the Newcastle and Goulburn areas. He was elected as the member for the seat of Newcastle West in 1901 until 1904 and for Newcastle from 1907 to 1910 in the New South Wales Legislative Assembly.[1]
