Oxxy Healthcare is an online health portal, displaying the rates of all the medical tests at all the hospitals, diagnostics and pathology labs. It is headquartered in New Delhi, India. OXXY was founded by Pankaj Gupta.
Oxxy has more than 1 lac Diagnostics, Pathology Labs and Hospitals in its network as of January 2015. The company is now recognised as India's Largest Healthcare Network by various media articles.[1][2]
Oxxy is valued over USD 2 billion,[3][4][5] and is dedicatedly working towards affordability and transparency in healthcare.
Swastha Bharat
SWASTHA BHARAT Initiative led by OXXY is a give back to the society to provide Transparency and affordability in Healthcare and Medical Expenditure. OXXY has already done this health camps in approx. 200 cities of the country. OXXY has launched its 3rd Phase recently with the Help of Noida Police and Authority.
In August 2015, Oxxy offered free eye screening for everyone in India.[6] This was conducted in 200 cities and millions of Indians were benefitted.[7]
Swastha Bharat Phase 1
OXXY created a world record by screening more than 12 Million People on the same day.[8] A million people across 100 cities in India were screened at 500 health camps on a single day simultaneously. These tests conducted included blood sugar, TSH, BP, ECG, pulmonary function, cholesterol, diagnostics, dental, eye, skin, hair, fitness, and stress relief.
The medical centres that were part of this initiative included BLK Hospital, Metro Hospital, Wellness Pathcare, Dr. Batra's, Dr Khosla's Dental Clinic and My Family Dentist.
Never ever in the World, any such kind of activity has ever taken place.
Oxxy has screened around 12 million people so far under the Swastha Bharat[9] initiative.[10] On 10 May 2015, Oxxy staged a record-breaking 500 free HealthCamps in about 100 cities of India.[11][12] In 2015, Oxxy partnered with Uber to provide free pick and drop for patients in 18 cities of the country. Oxxy plans to expand the services to other parts of the country as well.[13][14][15]
Swastha Bharat Phase 2
August 2015
In August 2015, Oxxy offered free eye screening for everyone in India.[16] This was conducted in 200 cities and millions of Indians were benefitted.[7] This was dedicated to Late Dr. APJ Abdul Kalam.
[17] This activity was carried for a month in different parts of the country. Dr. Kalam has always talked about the Eye Donations in various conferences and Seminars. OXXY gave a tribute, and thus FREE Eye Checkups were done in different cities of the Country.[10]
Swastha Bharat Phase 3
December 2015
OXXY recently launched its 3rd Phase under Swastha Bharat Initiative on 27 December 2015.[18] The Camp experienced a footfall of 500+ Police officials and tests like Blood sugar fasting, blood sugar random, cholesterol, Blood Pressure, ECG, urine Test, eye checkup, Dental, Hair, skin, cardio consultancy and various other body and health consultations were given to the police personnels.
Also the doctors held talks on General Health, Fitness, Cardio & Cancer related problems.[19]
Swastha Bharat Phase 4
January 2016
OXXY initiated Swastha Delhi in association with BJP for all Delhites. Satish Upadhyay, Delhi BJP President inaugurated the mega health camp. More than 2000 people were screened thru various tests such as Sugar, Cholesterol, Lipid Profile, ECG, Bone Mass Density, Lungs test, Eye test, Dental, Hair, Skin etc along with various consultation on Cardiology, General Medicine, Orthopedic etc.[20]
