Paderno del Grappa is a town and comune in the province of Treviso, in the Veneto, Italy. Paderno del Grappa is located at the base of Mount Grappa, a mountain located in the Dolomites. The municipality of Paderno del Grappa is approximately 45 miles (72 km) north of Venice, and close to larger towns, Asolo and Bassano del Grappa, also in the Treviso province.
Paderno del Grappa has a population of 2,204 (2011).[1] The municipality is between 175 and 1,775 metres (574 and 5,823 ft) above sea level.
Paderno del Grappa is home to Istituti Filippin, an Italian boarding school. The Instituti Filippin campus also serves as the campus for the CIMBA Italy Programs, including a study abroad program for American students. In 2008, the University of Iowa became the degree and credit-granting institution for CUIS. Students taking courses through CIMBA earn academic credit through the University of Iowa.
