Refrontolo is a comune (municipality) in the Province of Treviso in the Italian region Veneto, located about 50 kilometres (31 miles) north of Venice and about 30 km (19 mi) north of Treviso.
Refrontolo borders the following municipalities: Cison di Valmarino, Pieve di Soligo, San Pietro di Feletto, Susegana, Tarzo.
3 August 2014 tragedy
After incessant rainfalls the small river flooded during the Men's Refrontolo Party and 4 people died for the moment.
The disaster occurred when around 100 people were taking part in the festival near the small river.[2]
