Panfilov is a raion (district) of Chuy Province in northern Kyrgyzstan. The capital lies at Kayyngdy (Kaindy). The map at right is incorrect. It shows a mountainous exclave which Panfilov administers. The main body of the province is a strip along the far western border of Chuy Province.:[2]

Rural communities, and villages

For 2009, Panfilov District comprised 1 urban-type settlement and 20 villages in 6 rural communities (aiyl okmotus). Each rural community includes one or several villages. The rural communities in Panfilv District and settlements are as follows:[3]

  2. Voznesenvka aiyl okmotu (center - village Voznesenovka, and also villages Orto-Kaiyrma, and Erkin Say)
  3. Kyurpyul'dek aiyl okmotu ( center - village Kyurpyul'dek, and also villages Imeni Kirova, and Rovnoe)
  4. Ortoev aiyl okmotu (center - village Imeni Tel'mana, and also villages Bukara, and Kum-Aryk)
  5. Kurama aiyl okmotu ( center - village Panfilovskoye, and also villages Jaiylma, Orto-Aryk, and Efironos)
  6. Frunze aiyl okmotu (center - village Chaldavar, Chuy and also villages Chlok-Aryk, and Chorgolu)
  7. Chaldybar aiyl okmotu ( center - village Pervomayskoe and also villages Ozernoe, Oktyabr'skoe and Oyrondu)
