Panyam Vuppu Vanaja Bai was a famous Politician and Social Worker from Panyam (Assembly constituency).She was Founder and President of Panyam Women's Welfare Co-operative Society. She was also President of Sharada Mahila Mandal in Panyam. She was Member of Panyam Gram Panchayat and District Congress committee (Kurnool) .[1][2]

P.V.Vanaja Bai was born on 27 November 1930 in Chennai to P.V.Subba Rao (Ex- IAS Officer in Madras Presidency]) and P.V.Savitri Bai.[3]
