Papa Gueye (born June 7, 1984 in Dakar, Senegal) is a professional Senegalese football player. He is a central defender or defensive midfielder for Dnipro Dnipropetrovsk. Combining great strength and fitness with excellent passing and heading ability he earned respect and love from FC Metalist Kharkiv fans soon enough as they attributed a personal chant "Papa is able to do everything, just give the time" to him.
International career
When the Metalist coach Myron Markevych was placed as the head coach of the Ukraine national football team in 2010, there were talks of naturalization of Gueye.[1]
