Saliou Ciss (born 15 September 1989) is a Senegalese footballer who currently plays as a left back for Valenciennes.
Ciss received his footballing education at the Diambars academy in Senegal.[1] Following his graduation, he joined Serigne Kara, a fellow graduate, at Tromsø prior to the 2010 season.[1] He made his Tippeligaen debut as a substitute against Brann on 5 May 2010.[1] Ciss was loaned to Tromsø from Diambars for two years, before Tromsø announced on June 20, 2011 that they had activated a clause in Ciss' contract, purchasing him from Diambars and giving Ciss a contract which will run until 2014.[2]
