Patrice Lovely (born January 4, 1968) is an American actress, and comedian. She is best known for her role as Hattie Love in the sitcom Love Thy Neighbor.[1]
Early life
Patrice Lovely was born in Jackson, Mississippi on January 4, 1968. Lovely lived in Alabama for 20 years along with her mother, Martha McInnis, pastor of Greater Miracle Temple and Worship Center, a brother and other family members, spending part of her time in Montgomery and part in Troy. She graduated from Charles Henderson High School in Troy and attended Alabama State University. Patrice now resides in Atlanta, GA.
Career
Patrice Lovely started acting in 1997. In 2004 Lovely joined the UniverSoul Circus as a ringmaster alongside Shuckey Duckey as Mrs. Mabelle. She returned to the Big Top in 2010 as Grandma Maggie with Daniel "Lucky" Malatsi playing her grandson. In 2011, Lovely debuted on the stage for A Madea's Christmas, then she has been in other show such as fan favorite I Don't Want to Do Wrong. In 2013, She joined the cast of the new sitcom Love Thy Neighbor.[2]
She is also a highly acclaimed vocalist. Her stunning voice is so powerful; critics declare it an incomparable timeless instrument that baffles the mind. She has shared the stage with world-renowned artists including Gerald Levert, Kelly Price, Tommy Ford, D.C.Curry, Melba Moore, Kirk Franklin, Lenny Williams, Glenn Jones, Dave Hollister and MANY more. She was also a yearly featured performer on the Trinity Broadcasting Network (TBN). The Lovely Patrice has recorded two gospel albums Glory Road and Seven Days.[2]
