Patricio Gabarrón Gil (born 17 April 1993), simply Patric, is a Spanish professional footballer who plays as a right back for Italian club Lazio. He can also play as a defensive or central midfielder.
Club career
Born in Mula, Murcia, Patric joined La Masia in 2008, aged 15. Originally a defensive midfielder, he was reconverted into right back by the B-team's coach Eusebio Sacristán, a former Barcelona player.
On 22 September 2012, Patric made his debut with Barça B, coming on as a second-half substitute for Gerard Deulofeu in a 3–0 away win against Hércules CF for the Segunda División championship.[1] On 26 November of the following year he made his first team debut, replacing Carles Puyol in a 1–2 loss against AFC Ajax, for the season's UEFA Champions League; it was his maiden appearance with the main squad.[2]
On 8 June 2015 Patric moved abroad for the first time in his career, after agreeing to a four-year deal with Serie A club S.S. Lazio.[3]
