Peroxyureidoacrylate/ureidoacrylate amidohydrolase (EC 3.5.1.110, RutB) is an enzyme with systematic name (Z)-3-ureidoacrylate peracid amidohydrolase.[1] This enzyme catalyses the following chemical reaction

(1) (Z)-3-ureidoacrylate peracid + H2O \rightleftharpoons (Z)-3-peroxyaminoacrylate + CO2 + NH3 (overall reaction)
(1a) (Z)-3-ureidoacrylate peracid + H2O \rightleftharpoons (Z)-3-peroxyaminoacrylate + carbamate
(1b) carbamate \rightleftharpoons CO2 + NH3 (spontaneous)
(2) (Z)-2-methylureidoacrylate peracid + H2O \rightleftharpoons (Z)-2-methylperoxyaminoacrylate + CO2 + NH3 (overall reaction)
(2a) (Z)-2-methylureidoacrylate peracid + H2O \rightleftharpoons (Z)-2-methylperoxyaminoacrylate + carbamate
(2b) carbamate \rightleftharpoons CO2 + NH3 (spontaneous)

The enzyme also shows activity towards ureidoacrylate.
