Peston on Sunday is the flagship political discussion programme on British television network ITV, broadcast live on Sunday mornings from 10am from 8 May 2016. The programme is presented by Robert Peston, the Political Editor of ITV News, and will feature discussion with politicians and public figures on the major news events of the week.[3] In contrast to the style of questioning employed by rival programmes like The Andrew Marr Show and Murnaghan, Peston on Sunday will feature a more relaxed, conversational approach in order to gauge the real views and opinions of the political guests.[4] Presenter Allegra Stratton, the National Editor of ITV News, will provide the show with social media updates and viewers' comments.[3]

Guests

It was confirmed on 5 May 2016 that Chancellor of the Exchequer George Osborne would be one of the studio guests on the launch episode of Peston on Sunday.[5]
