Piansano is a comune (municipality) in the Province of Viterbo in the Italian region Latium, located about 90 kilometres (56 mi) northwest of Rome and about 25 kilometres (16 mi) northwest of Viterbo. As of 31 December 2004, it had a population of 2,232 and an area of 26.5 square kilometres (10.2 sq mi).[1]
Piansano borders the following municipalities: Arlena di Castro, Capodimonte, Cellere, Tuscania, Valentano.
