Pickett (formerly Welaunee or Weelaunee; later called Pickett's Station or Picketts Station) is an unincorporated community located in southwestern corner of Winnebago County, Wisconsin, United States. Pickett is located on Wisconsin Highway 44 northeast of Ripon and southwest of Oshkosh, in the town of Utica. Pickett has a post office with ZIP code 54964.[2]
History
It was originally named Welaunee, but was later renamed Pickett's Station after Armine Pickett, an early settler and member of the state legislature.[3]
