Podlesie [pɔdˈlɛɕɛ] (German: Kunsdorf) is a village in the administrative district of Gmina Niemcza, within Dzierżoniów County, Lower Silesian Voivodeship, in south-western Poland.[1] Prior to 1945 it was in Germany. After World War II the region was placed under Polish administration and ethnically cleansed according to the post-war Potsdam Agreement. The native German populace was expelled and replaced with Poles.
It lies approximately 5 kilometres (3 mi) south-east of Niemcza, 23 km (14 mi) east of Dzierżoniów, and 51 km (32 mi) south of the regional capital Wrocław.
The village has a population of 200.
